These links to recovery programs are provided for your convenience. All except for the last link are 12-step, non-profit programs. The 12 steps have helped literally tens of millions of people become free from their specific bondage. There is only one catch... You have to want it.

While iamnotcrazy.net has no affiliation with any of these programs, nor does it
sponsor or endorse them, we are here to say that the 12 steps work if you work them.
I am living proof.

Celebrate Recovery
An incredible Christ based program that combines worship, testimony, teaching, small group sharing and fellowship. Every chapter has several different small groups specializing in various "hurts, habits and hang ups".
Check your local chapter to see what it has to offer!

Emotions Anonymous
This is another one of my favorites! Emotions Anonymous handles abused emotions as an addiction. Experiencing emotions is a part of being a healthy human. The problems start when one or more become the master. I strongly believe that the basis of most, if not all addictions is rooted in emotional turmoil.

Co-Dependents Anonymous
In my experience, I have found codependency to be one of the most misunderstood addictions. I feel that this program is about healthy relationships, and achieving self worth that is not dependent on another's opinions or satisfaction.

Alcoholics Anonymous
AA is the original 12-step program with meetings in every corner of the globe. With over 114,000 meetings a week, chances are that there is a group within a few miles of wherever you are.

Al-Anon
For the family and friends of the alcoholic, Al-anon is for the support of those who experience the rigors of life with an alcoholic.

Debtor Anonymous
Being mired in debt can lead to unmanageability in many other areas of life. This program is for the compulsive debtor.

Survivors of Incest
One of the many things this program teaches is that the abuse was not the survivor's fault.

Self Mutilators Anonymous
Self-mutilation is not merely self-punishment, but can become a way of handling life. I have met many people who have overcome this baffling and surprisingly prevalent addiction.

Suicide Anonymous
A program to help those who want to stop the pattern of suicidal behavior.

Sexaholics Anonymous
Sexual sobriety is a possibility, even in this sexually obsessed world in which we live.

Overeaters Anonymous
Compulsive eating has plagued me my entire life, and is an addiction with which I still struggle. In this land of plenty, overeating has become an easy way to cope.

Narcotics Anonymous
This program is for recovery from the addiction to all types of drugs, not just narcotics. It started in the 1940's and was one of, if not the first program to branch off of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Crystal Meth Anonymous
Speed will take over your mind, body and soul. I was in its grasp for over a decade. It not only kills, it enslaves.

Cocaine Anonymous
Cocaine, one of the most addictive substances known, is readily available throughout the world and has destroyed countless lives.

Marijuana Anonymous
Marijuana is known as the gateway drug. I was always a firm believer that it was a truly non-addictive drug that was completely harmless. To this day, many years after my last puff, I still suffer from memory loss and cravings.

Nicotine Anonymous
Nicotine is as addictive as heroine, yet it is legal for anyone over the age of eighteen. This drug has been responsible for millions of deaths.

Gamblers Anonymous
Compulsive gambling destroys the addict's financial well-being and self respect.

Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge is not a 12-step program, it is a residential Christ based program. Teen Challenge houses the addict for 12 months emerging them in God's word and instilling a servant's heart.
